Wow... its been a while since I've had the chance to write.

This afternoon, my roommates (Meredith and Amy) and I went to the street fair in deep ellum. On the way there, we noticed MANY cars pulled off on the side of the highway and people posing for pictures among the blue bonnets. It seems to me that nearly everybody in Dallas can somehow identify with this experience, so it seemed necessary for us as well. (We are always going out of our way to experience true Texan culture.) Fortunately, I had my camera with me... so we pulled over and joined two other families on a hill covered with blue flowers for a photo shoot of our own. Had we prepared in advance, we would have known that it is best to wear matching outfits for the occassion. We will next year, for sure.
