Most Recently:

On Thursday evening, I got to go out for coffee with Elizabeth, a girl who lives next door in the Brown House. Boys are fun and good. But its just nice to spend time with other girls sometimes.
On Friday morning, Linnea and I had coffee together in her studio while she painted my portrait. Then when I got home from work, everybody from the Brown House and the Convent had dinner together. It was a send-off party for the Bells. I'm still in denial that they're really moving out next weekend, so I still had a good time.
On Saturday morning, Ryan and I drove up to Chicago. It was a good ride, minus the last half hour as we hit a snow storm. My windshield wipers were wrecked so I couldn't see a thing as I drove through Chicago traffic. At least it was beautiful!
We stayed with Erin, one of my good friends from college. We went to the Art Institute together and explored the city on foot until our limbs were numb from the cold. Erin treated Ryan and me to some fabulous Thai food, and then we all went to the Metro together to see Pelican (loud, loud, loud) and the Appleseed Cast. I really enjoyed the show, and it was especially nice that we acquired some of the only seats in the place. (Although... I found that I was so comfortable that I accidentally fell asleep a few times.)
The next day I slept until almost noon, and then we all hung out at the house for a while. We were hoping for some low budget entertainment, and I always love going to bookstores. So Erin took us to this fantastic little shop called the Armadillo Pillow. I could have spent the whole day there. While we were browsing, I got a call from Dave who suggested we extend our visit since the roads were bad. Of course, I was thrilled to have an excuse to stay. We got some cheap frozen pizzas and a movie (Bruce Almighty) and headed back to her apartment.
This morning at 7:30, I got a call from another college friend who lives in Chicago. Amie had just gotten off her night shift at Children's Hospital, and she met us at Erin's so that we could have breakfast together. Ryan, Amie, and I went to this fun little coffee shop called Kopi's. We sat on pillows on the floor, and we were served our food on a low table. (Why would anyone go to the Starbuck's down the road when there are places like this?) I hadn't talked to Amie in over a year, so it was great to catch up with her.
The ride back to Cincinnati was pleasant, thanks to new windshield wiper blades. And we made it back just in time for Zoey's birthday party. Everybody from the Convent went over to the Brown House for pizza, cake, and a bit of celebrating.
And immediately after the party, Sharon, Marissa, Jody, Carrie, and I (all the girls at the convent) went out for coffee. Sharon tried to find a girlie magazine quiz for us to all do, but the only one we found had to do with heart attacks. It didn't seem that interesting...

Okay then, that's about it. I'm so ready for bed.
Oh... don't forget to look at the pictures.
