I am here at my childhood home, visiting New Hampshire for a glorious 12 days. I came home in time to celebrate my nana's 90th birthday which is next Friday. Almost everybody in my entire extended family will be coming in from across the country... aunts, uncles, cousins, plus my immediate family. (That puts the total at around 11 people, including nana.) She's having the party at her church in Lexington, Mass where she will display many of the paintings she has done over the years. I'm pretty excited about it.

I started reading A People's History of the United States a couple of days ago. There is a lot to take in... I'll be saying more about this eventually.
