Things are going quite well here. On Friday night I had dinner with five of my friends from high school. I have stayed close with a few of them... but a couple of the others, I hadn't seen in ages. It was great. And it was strange. Three of them are married now. One is divorced. One has a new baby. Wow. I think things have changed for me a lot too- but in less visable ways, maybe. (Come to think of it, I was actually wearing a shirt that was part of my wardrobe in high school. I guess some things stay the same.)
This morning I had breakfast with three of these friends, and there are plans again for dinner tomorrow night. I do love these people.
Today my parents and I drove up to Concord to have lunch with my sister and brother-in-law. Then we took their dog for a hike in a park. There is still a lot of green here- more than I was expecting, but it is definitely fall.
I miss all of you in Ohio.
