Thank you to everyone who showed up at such an early hour on a rainy day to send me off with hugs and kisses. I felt loved... and I cried for a good while as I drove away. Thanks also for the calls to check on me throughout the trip. I drove 950 miles in about 15.5 hours, and it was surprisingly easy. (Thanks for the prayers!) I finally arrived at my sister's house at midnight, slept until 9am, and finished unpacking well before noon.
So here I am. I'm sure that the homesickness I feel will lessen over time...

We miss you, Cat. Your normally warm, colorful, and cozy room now looks rather sparse and lonely. I suppose the slightly empty feeling here will lessen over time, too. So glad you arrived safely and our prayers were answered for your safe travel. You are loved here in Ohio....Jody
