While I was at my parents house this morning, I found a $100 US savings bond in my name among some of the stuff thats still in my old bedroom. My dad seemed to think that I should go ahead and cash it. So I took this as a sign that I should go see Sufjan Steven's play in Cambridge.
So Seth, Brian, and I went back down to The Middle East (yeah, that's the name of the venue) for the afternoon concert. There was a sign on the door when we got there to inform us that both of the shows were sold out already, which was bad news. We decided to wait around in hopes that they would eventually let us in. And in the meantime, we were entertained out on the cold sidewalk by a man who assured us that he was the best harmonica player in the country. I'm no expert, but I feel quite sure that this was an exaggeration. We still found him to be quite entertaining though, for a number of reasons.
They did let us buy tickets once the opening band started. And Sufjan was fabulous. If you haven't listened to Sufjan Stevens, you really must.
