Last weekend was full of family festivities. On Wednesday, I went grocery shopping with my mom to buy the goods for our Thanksgiving feast. Then we started cooking. And I actually participated in the food preparation! To make it even more of an event, I requested that we wear aprons. My mom pulled out this ridiculous, frilly white one for me to wear, and it made me feel even more like Amelia Bedelia (Everybody knows who Amelia Bedelia is, right?) It was fun.
I stayed overnight at my parents' house, and then my grandparents and Chris and Larry all met up with us for a big Thanksgiving brunch. My sister and her husband were going down to the Cape to eat turkey with Larry's family, so we celebrated with them over Belgian waffles in the morning. The turkey and stuffing came later. It was a full day of feasting.
The next few days involved pulling out decorations, putting up Christmas trees, and transforming my parents' and my sister's houses into winter wonderlands. Its good to be with my family again.

Belgian waffles... Mmmm. I would love one of those right now. Yum. Do you ever go through stages where breakfast food sounds good all the time? All morning i've been craving a egg and cheese biscuit from McDonalds. Ahhhh.
Sounds like a great time with the fam, miss catty.
