Look at me... Posting two days in a row, after all this time! Its rather inconvenient for me to get on the internet these days, but I came over to my parents' house so that I could search for plane tickets online. (This is my secret addiction!) I'm hoping, HOPING to go to either France or Jamaica to visit friends during my winter break at the end of this month. We'll see....

Today I wanted some solitude, so I packed my journal and some good CDs and drove to the coast. I stopped at a local coffee shop to journal and warm up. It ended up being so packed that on two different occassions, other people asked to share a table with me. Of course, I couldn't refuse, but it did make my time in solitude a little less... alone. I found the irony of the situation particularly amusing. The three people that sat with me weren't interested in conversation (we are in New England, after all), so I still managed to spend some time writing. Then I drove along the coast, stopping at beautiful places to walk around and climb on the rocks by the ocean. And I only got lost a few times.
