I've been in California for the last few days. This is such a beautiful state. Redwood forests, mountains, ocean, sunshine...

Sarah and I went to the same college, and we lived in a big old house in Ohio with four other girls the year after I graduated. She's living in San Jose now and attending Palmer chiropractic school. She's in class now, and when she gets back, I'm going to go to the clinic so she can practice her skills on me.
On Sunday, Sarah and I drove over the hills toward the ocean. We stopped in a couple of the coastal towns - Carmel and Monterey. Its amazing... the kind of beauty that makes you hold your breath.
On Monday night, I got together with my aunt who lives in the area. We ate at a fun Mexican restaurant, and then I stayed overnight at her place. It was so good to see her! Then last night, Sarah and I drove up to Berkeley for an Over the Rhine show, and I got to catch up with Ryan a little bit. Tomorrow I'm supposed to meet up with Chris, one of the friends I went to school with in Texas.
I'm loving this trip...
